Ken Collins
Ken’s introduction to the world of aerial entertainment began in 1978 when he became a sales rep for “The Skytypers” in Los Alamitos, CA. After seeing how incredibly exciting the world of aerial entertainment could be he called his new friend, Don Stetson, to join him at Skytypers. While Ken has succeeded at other endeavors since those early days (among them Eastman Kodak and Xerox), in terms of vocation his first love has always been associated with aerial entertainment.
As we all know, on September 11th the world changed. The horrific events of that day brought a major slow down (in some cases total stoppage) to the world of aerial entertainment – in particular to those performances that took place outside the air show arena away from airports.
Fortunately, Ken and Don have remained closed friends throughout the years and in 2008 they decided to reenter the aerial entertainment business under the name of Sky-Tacular Entertainment and revitalize an aerial entertainment company Don had owned prior to 9/11. Their purpose; to provide boutique air shows to corporate America and find credible sponsorships for many of the performers they work with today.
Ken is a native of Southern California and lived there until 1994 when he relocated to Las Vegas, NV with his wife, Rosemarie and their three children. During Ken’s leisure time (of which there is little) he likes to golf, dine out with family and friends, and spoil the newest edition to the Collins clan, his first grandchild, Jonah!
As a cancer survivor, Ken’s life philosophy is; “it’s all about the dash.” Ask him about that sometime.

Don Stetson
Don got his first taste of aerial entertainment in late 1978 when he started selling skytyping and skywriting with his now partner, Ken Collins. Don’s interest and love for the aerial business continued to evolved and eventually Don invested in a large aircraft hangar at Palm Springs Airport in sunny Southern California. It was not too long after that Don won a contract with Disney Resorts to stage daily air shows over the Queen Mary in Long Beach. That contract consisted of three shows a day, six days a week for about four months. This successful endeavor opened the doors for Don to establish Stetson Entertainment. The purpose of the business would be to provide boutique air shows for corporate America away from the traditional airport setting.
After several successes with his aerial entertainment business the tragic events of 9/11 took place. The world of aerial entertainment changed dramatically and soon Don moved on to other business ventures.
In 2008 Don got together with Ken to discuss a “reopening” of the Stetson Entertainment business. Both agreed that the timing was good for such a venture and they formed Sky-Tacular Entertainment, LLC. A mission statement was created and then a company dedicated to providing unique, exciting and safe aerial entertainment for corporate America. Both Don and Ken added sponsorship opportunities to their services and today seek sponsorships on behalf of their many performers.
When Don is not calling on Sky-Tacular clients he enjoys the challenge of his other love; growing grapes and making wine.
